Incoming staff mobility from partner countries (KA171 action):

Each year in May (at the earliest) the University of Ruse receives information from the National Erasmus+ agency of Bulgaria about funded mobility flows. The contact persons of the bilateral agreements send information to their partners about the number and length of the funded mobilities. Selection is carried out at the sending institution.

Selected participans fill in the following:

Teaching programme for incoming staff - download

Training programme for incoming staff - download

The contents of the programme should be coordinated with the contact person of the relevant bilateral agreement from the University of Ruse. It is signed by the participant and the International office of the sending university and is sent scanned by e-mail. After signature by the institutional Erasmus coordinator of the University of Ruse, it is returned scanned.

Participants who need visa should send a copy of the passport so that an invitation is prepared.

Sample (just for reference) of the financial agreement for incoming teaching mobility participants under KA171 - here. The travel grant is for a return trip and depends on the distance between home and host institution. The distance is calculated according to the distance calculator of EC - here  and then the grant is defined according to the rates specified in the Erasmus Guide - here. The daily subsistance grant for Bulgaria is 140 Euro/day. The miminum legitimate length of each mobility is 7 days/6 nights (5 working days and 2 days for travel) for which the participant receives from the University of Ruse subsistance for 6 days (equal to the number of nights) or 7 days if the participant comes from distant countries. In order to receive the full grant , there is a requirement that the first travel day should be not more than two days detached from the first working day (and the same rule for departure travel day).

The maximum length of each mobility depends on the number of days financed by the National Erasmus agency for the current year.

Payment of grants to KA171 participants is done after arrival to the participants' bank accounts.

Certificate of attendance is issued to all incoming participants.
